Because eJO operates as a multi‑vendor ecommerce system, each Vendor is responsible for managing their own shipping methods, delivery times, and logistics. By placing an order through the Platform, Customers agree to the terms outlined here and any additional Vendor‑specific shipping policies.

2. Vendor Shipping Responsibilities

Each Vendor is responsible for:

  1. Setting clear shipping methods, fees, and delivery timelines.
  2. Packaging products securely to prevent damage.
  3. Providing accurate shipping information and tracking details (when available).
  4. Complying with Jordanian customs, transport, and consumer protection laws.
  5. Ensuring timely dispatch of orders.

If a Vendor does not publish a shipping policy, the default legal standards in Jordan apply.

3. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

Shipping options may vary depending on:

  1. The Vendor’s location
  2. The Customer’s delivery address
  3. The type and size of the product
  4. The chosen shipping method

Delivery times are estimates provided by Vendors and may vary due to:

  1. Weather conditions
  2. Courier delays
  3. Customs inspections (for international shipments)
  4. High‑volume seasons

Customers will be notified if significant delays occur.

4. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are determined by each Vendor and may depend on:

  1. Product weight and dimensions
  2. Delivery location
  3. Shipping speed
  4. Courier service used

Shipping fees will be displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

5. Order Processing Time

Processing time refers to the period before the order is shipped. Vendors may require:

  1. 1–3 business days for standard processing
  2. Longer processing times for custom or handmade items

Processing time is separate from delivery time.

6. Tracking Information

When available, Vendors will provide tracking numbers or shipment updates. Tracking availability depends on the courier service used. Some local deliveries within Jordan may not include tracking.

7. Delivery Attempts

Couriers may attempt delivery multiple times. If the Customer is unavailable:

  1. The courier may contact the Customer directly.
  2. The package may be held at a pickup location.
  3. The order may be returned to the Vendor if unclaimed.

Additional fees may apply for re‑delivery.

8. International Shipping

Some Vendors may offer international shipping. Customers are responsible for:

  1. Customs duties
  2. Import taxes
  3. Clearance fees

These charges vary by country and are not included in the product price or shipping fee unless stated otherwise.

9. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If an order arrives damaged or does not arrive:

  1. Customers must contact the Vendor immediately through the Platform.
  2. Vendors may request photos or documentation.
  3. Vendors will coordinate with the courier to resolve the issue.

If the courier confirms loss or damage, the Vendor must offer a replacement or refund according to their policy and Jordanian consumer protection laws.

10. Incorrect Address or Delivery Issues

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. If an incorrect address is provided:

  1. The courier may return the package to the Vendor.
  2. Additional shipping fees may apply for re‑delivery.
  3. Refunds may not be issued for perishable or non‑returnable items.

11. Compliance With Jordanian Law

This policy aligns with:

  1. Consumer Protection Law No. 7 of 2017
  2. Electronic Transactions Law No. 15 of 2015
  3. Transport and courier regulations in Jordan

Vendors must comply with all legal obligations regarding shipping, delivery, and customer rights.

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
